A Chinese Jade Carved Dragon-Form Fitting.
Carved from pale celadon jade with natural variations in tone, this sculptural fitting is modelled as a sinuous dragon shown in profile, its elongated body forming a continuous flowing curve. The dragon’s head is crisply defined with an open mouth, raised brow, and stylised facial features, while the body is articulated with subtle incised lines suggesting musculature and movement.
