An Amlash Terracotta Zoomorphic Vessel, Mid 1st Millennium B.C.
A rounded terracotta vessel with a single handle and a short flaring neck, modelled in the form of an animal with a raised head and spout-shaped snout. The surface displays soft reddish and beige earthen tones with traces of mineral deposits. The vessel shows the characteristic stylised animal forms associated with Amlash ceramic traditions of the Iron Age.
