A Bactrian White Marble Vessel in the Form of a Seated Lion, circa 2nd–1st Millennium BC.
A sculpted white stone vessel carved in the form of a seated lion, featuring a cylindrical hollow at the top. The figure is rendered with stylised mane detailing, almond-shaped eyes, and a compact, muscular body with delineated paws and tail. The surface bears fine linear incisions around the mane and back, reflecting the Bactrian style of zoomorphic vessel forms.
