A Bakhtari Alabaster Closed-Form Vessel, circa 3rd Century BC.
An ancient Bakhtari alabaster vessel of closed form, carved from a single block of banded stone displaying warm layers of honey, cream, and sand tones. The tall, tapering cylindrical body rises to a broad, rounded rim, with both the top and base carved fully closed, giving the piece a monolithic, sculptural presence.
