A finely inscribed Mughal silver rupee from the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan (r. 1628–1658), dated to the 1630s. The coin features bold Persian calligraphy arranged within rectangular cartouches, displaying the emperor’s name and titles on one side, with additional inscriptions on the reverse framed in a harmonious, balanced layout.
