A Chinese Doucai-Style Porcelain Bowl with Fish and Aquatic Motifs, Chenghua Mark.
The bowl is potted with a gently rounded body rising to a slightly everted rim, supported on a short foot. The exterior and interior are decorated in underglaze blue with overglaze enamel colours, depicting fish swimming among aquatic plants, lotus blossoms, and scrolling water motifs. The palette includes tones of green, turquoise, aubergine, and iron red, arranged within finely drawn outlines. The interior medallion and the surrounding cavetto repeat the aquatic theme, framed by decorative borders. The base is inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character Da Ming Chenghua nian zhi mark within a double circle, apocryphal.
