A Chinese Islamic Porcelain Plate with Calligraphic Inscriptions.
This circular Chinese porcelain charger is decorated with a radiating composition of black Islamic calligraphy arranged in segmented panels around a central roundel. Surrounding panels contain further devotional Arabic inscriptions, executed in flowing calligraphy and separated by thin green borders. The rim is embellished with a continuous blue geometric border interspersed with repeating cartouches, each containing the name Allah (الله) in red script.
