A Chinese Silver Cloisonné Enamel Censer, 20th Century – A Chinese silver cloisonné enamel censer of lidded, globular form. Crafted from white metal, exhibiting significant tarnish, the vessel features intricate openwork, repoussé, and cloisonné enamel decoration. Stylistically adorned with East Asian motifs including stylized phoenix-like birds, qilin-like creatures, elephant-like figures, and various floral and foliate patterns, rendered in vibrant shades of royal blue, turquoise, green, yellow, orange, and red enamel. The domed lid is topped with a small ring finial. The underside bears a rectangular hallmark with the characters ‘足紋’ (zú wén), indicating ‘pure silver’ or ‘standard silver fineness’. 179.3g
