Buyer's Premium:

A Chinese Cloisonné Enamel Rectangular Box and Cover, Qianlong Mark, 19h-20th Century – A Chinese cloisonné enamel rectangular box and cover, bearing a Qianlong mark. This rectangular metal box, likely bronze or copper, is profusely decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamel. The exterior features a vibrant light blue ground with intricate scrolling vines and various floral motifs, including a central design on the lid incorporating stylized fish or carp beneath a tassel-like element. The box stands on four small gilt or brass-toned feet, and its edges are similarly finished. The interior of the box reveals a fitted recess, possibly for an inkstone, surrounded by a geometric key-fret pattern, while the underside of the lid bears a four-character mark, 乾隆年製 (Qiánlóng Nián Zhì), meaning "Made in the Qianlong reign, " within a gilt cartouche.
