A Chinese Islamic Blue and White Porcelain Bowl with Arabic Calligraphic Inscription.
A small blue and white porcelain bowl of gently flared form, the exterior decorated with a hand-painted Arabic calligraphic inscription in cobalt blue, arranged horizontally around the body. The glaze presents a soft milky white tone, contrasted by neatly drawn blue double-line borders at the rim and foot. The interior is plain, finished in a smooth, pale glaze that pools subtly toward the centre.
