A Pair of Chinese Bronze Guardian Lions (Foo Dogs).
A finely cast pair of Chinese bronze guardian lions, modelled in mirrored poses and shown seated with upright, alert stances. Each figure features a pronounced mythical face with bulging eyes, flared nostrils, and a curling tongue, framed by a stylised flaming mane rising vertically from the head. The bodies are powerfully rendered with muscular chests, ribbed limbs, and scaled detailing along the legs, while the paws rest firmly on the ground with individually defined claws.
