A Chinese Qingbai Dragon-Handled Pilgrim Flask. –
A Chinese Qingbai dragon-handled pilgrim flask. This rectangular-bodied ceramic flask features a short cylindrical neck and two highly stylized, zoomorphic handles/lugs extending from the shoulders to the upper body, consistent with dragon motifs. It is crafted from a ceramic material, likely stoneware, and covered in a pale celadon-type glaze that displays a prominent crackle pattern. Subtle molded or incised floral and foliate designs are visible on the main body beneath the glaze. The vessel stands on an unglazed, rectangular footrim with an exposed, earthy-toned base.
