– An Ottoman Astronomical Diagram on Paper, 19th Century.
A finely executed Ottoman manuscript diagram depicting an armillary sphere, shown with interlacing celestial bands in soft tones of yellow, green, red, and ochre. The central sphere contains a small rendering of the Earth, while the surrounding rings are inscribed with neatly written Arabic labels for celestial zones and orbital paths. The composition includes additional measuring devices at the upper corners and Ottoman calligraphic inscriptions and seals at the lower section.
