An Indian Bronze Figure of Hanuman, 19th Century or Later.
An Indian cast bronze figure depicting Hanuman standing upon a circular lotus-moulded plinth. The deity is shown in an upright stance, with both arms extended forward, each hand holding a small offering vessel.
He wears a tiered crown with flared elements at the sides, large circular earrings, and a beaded necklace resting across the chest. The facial features are stylised, with pronounced eyes and a composed expression. The torso is slender, adorned with simple incised detailing to indicate jewellery and garment folds.
Behind the figure rises the characteristic curved tail, arching upward and terminating above the head, forming a sculptural halo-like contour that frames the composition. The lotus base is pierced with decorative apertures and rests on a gently flared circular foot.
