Buyer's Premium:

An Indo-Scythian Coin of Azes II (c. 35–12 BC).

A silver drachm attributed to the Indo-Scythian ruler Azes II, displaying on the obverse a standing king holding a spear or standard, framed by stylised inscriptions in Greek-derived script. The reverse features a mounted horseman riding right, accompanied by surrounding legends in Kharosthi script. The coin illustrates the transitional phase between Hellenistic and Central Asian nomadic traditions in north-western India. The relief remains well-defined, with visible detail in the royal figure and horse, and a consistent aged silver patina across both sides.
