A Chinese Amber Carving of a Dragon with Flaming Pearl.
Finely carved from translucent golden-orange amber, this Chinese sculpture depicts a sinuous dragon coiled protectively around a flaming pearl. The creature’s powerful head is rendered with wide eyes, flaring nostrils, and a fiercely expressive open mouth. Scaled detailing along the body enhances the dynamic composition, while flowing whiskers, a ridged spine, and clawed limbs.
