A Mughal Dagger with Horse-Head Jade Hilt, 19-20th Century.
This dagger features a hilt in the form of a horse’s head, carved from pale green jade with subtle brown veining. The horse is adorned with a bridle, its mane rendered in flowing, incised lines. At the base of the hilt, a blossoming flower with curling foliage adds decorative flourish.
