An Islamic White Metal Censer with Pierced Bird and Floral Motifs.
A spherical Islamic censer made of silver, intricately pierced and engraved with alternating panels of floral motifs and stylised birds in flight. The orb-shaped body opens to reveal a set of internal rotating concentric rings, likely designed to hold aromatic incense while suspended. The censer is attached to a short chain with a clasp for hanging.
