A Chinese porcelain vase of rectangular form with a circular waisted neck and foot, modelled after the ancient jade cong shape. The vessel is covered overall in an even, pale sea-foam green celadon glaze that pools slightly darker around the relief decoration to accentuate the design. Each of the four flat sides is decorated in relief with various auspicious scholars objects and floral arrangements. Central motifs include vases containing flowering branches, likely prunus and peony, alongside incense burners and bowls of fruit, all surrounded by swirling ribbons and ruyi clouds. The waisted neck is decorated with a band of ruyi-head scrolls, and the circular foot is encircled by an incised key-fret leiwen border. The base features an underglaze blue six-character seal mark of the Qianlong Emperor reading Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi.

H: Approximately 32cm

Condition report:

The vase is in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or visible restorations are evident. The glaze finish is consistent and smooth. The unglazed foot rim shows minor expected surface wear and slight discoloration from age and contact with surfaces.
