A finely painted Qajar portrait of a young woman, attributed to Mohammad Isma’il Naqashbashi, executed in opaque pigments on paper. The elegant female figure is depicted standing within a wooded landscape, wearing an elaborate red patterned robe, white sleeves, pearl jewellery and a richly decorated yellow headdress. Her delicately rendered features, stylised curls and graceful pose are characteristic of Qajar court portraiture. Set within multiple ruled borders and mounted on card.
