A pair of 20th-century Islamic-style pottery chess pieces of abstract domed form, each surmounted by a rounded knop. The bodies are decorated with bands of incised ring-and-dot motifs, with the larger example of taller cylindrical form and the smaller with a spreading circular foot. Finished in brown tones with lighter incised decoration and areas of surface wear.
